Ava likes to be held, she likes the contact. I thought I would be strict with her and I would like her to get herself to sleep at some point. After she's had the feed, she likes a bit of a cuddle, then she has a good sleep - that's in the day. At night time she feeds, she falls to sleep, I put her back in the Moses basket and she sleeps again until the next feed. If she was playing up in the night I would be concerned, but she doesn't. I'd rather not have her in the bed, I don't feel comfortable with co-sleeping, don't do it if the baby is happy to be in their own bed, it's safer.
