As soon as I found out I was having twins the thought of a natural delivery really scared me and i think I just automatically assumed that I would be having a caesarean from the off so that was always in my head and I think I would have actually have been more surprised if you had told me that I was going to have to have a natural delivery although having done the research it is far more likely that you would do a natural delivery with twins so when I found that statistic out that is when I kind of thought I do need to pay attention in my NCT classes they are not just about socialising, okay right what do I have to do, but the caesarean, I mean the advantages were that because it was planned I knew when I was going in I could be prepared for it. I hadn't had a long labour before I had an emergency caesarean. I wasn't caught on my own, all of that bit. The disadvantages well, because it was planned I haven't experienced my waters breaking I haven't ever had a contraction so I am sure most people would say oh well lucky you but I do feel like a little bit like I have missed out on a really important part of being a mum really so I have mixed feelings about the caesarean.
