Post baby friendships

I wouldn't say I had problems with old friends, but I found that I was seeing my friends who don't have children a lot less. Not necessarily because we've grown apart, but the kind of interests that we have have changed. Obviously I can't go out and party until 5am. And I have made lots of friends who are mums, I think that's really important especially when you're a first-time mum - I feel that I have a network, I have support from the people who have gone through the same thing as me. It's also nice to have friends whose children are of the same age as yours, because you have even more in common, you go through the shared experience.
