Sterilisers

I did absolutely no research as far as the bottles are concerned. I wanted something that was fast and easy to sterilize. We did buy a sterilizing set at first, we started with the Avent bottles and it was so long winded, we were doing bottles in the middle of the night and it was taking eight minutes in the microwave to steam a bottle to use. And then I read about Mothercare's microwaveable bottles, they just come in a self-contained little unit, you put some water in the lids, which acts as its own steamer, you rest the actual bottle on the top with the teat inside, stick in the microwave for 90 seconds and that's it - sterile. Those were a godsend for us, they were so easy to use, never bothered with fancy teats or fancy bottles, the kids seemed quite happy with the basic Mothercare ones and I would definitely recommend those to anybody, because they are so fast.
