Monitors are fantastic - whether you've gone for something relatively basic or a 'bells and whistles' video monitor.
Our monitor is always on throughout the night and I sleep peacefully, knowing I'll be woken straight away when my baby wakes or cries. In fact, I find having the monitor so comforting, I still use it even though Thomas is fast approaching 3 years old. I like the fact that I can hear him calling me if he wakes up or has a bad dream.
So, having two little ones now is a bit of a dilemma. Who gets the monitor? Yesterday I learned of a great new design from Motorola - the MBP30 Multi-cam. It's a digital video baby monitor with two LCD colour monitors meaning you can watch over two little ones at the same time - perfect if you have twins or two small children. Other fab features include long digital range and two-way communication. The RRP is £99.99 so it's not cheap, but it is rather brilliant.
Buy this monitor from Amazon or Mothercare
For something a little less flashy, they've also launched a great digital audio monitor - the MBP14 with features including a temperature monitor and night light, RRP £39.99.
