Other than a few weeks of breastfeeding, I've bottle fed both my babies. So long as you're organised with a couple of sterile bottles and baby milk, it's pretty easy to feed when you're out of the house.
While both my boys would take their milk room temperature, they certainly prefer it warmed a little. While some cafe's and restaurants will give you a jug of hot water to stand the bottle in, not all will (health and safety of course!). And, if you're simply sitting in the car or having a picnic in the middle of a field, a jug of hot water is hard to come by.
So, today I'm highly recommending the travel bottle warmer. There are numerous designs - some that act as insulators and others that work like a flask giving you hot water and a beaker in which to stand your bottle.
