Teach yourself to Crochet – Red Ted Art is hopefully all about inspiration! And being inspired to try something new. And this is exactly what I did – inspired by a lovely Guest Post, I set out to learn to crochet. Then wrote this pos to help you do so too. It was reviewed and given the thumbs up by some crochet experts. So do come and take a look!
Easter Bunny Tutorial – if you liked the Doll we made a few weeks ago, you may like this cute Guest Post bunny. I class myself as very much a beginner sewer, but had a go a the pattern – using one of Pip Squeak’s babygrows and was very happy with the result! A true keepsake!
Egg Blowing – ever tried egg blowing? It is a very fun craft for Easter – all the family can take part – well,maybe take care with the littlies, but no reason why they can’t help paint. A quick “how to”, shows you the basic steps and also gives you a lovely and very simple Austrian Egg design.
Kids Crafts
Castle and Men – Check out our loo roll castle complete with men. This kept Red Ted very busy of the last couple of weeks. The men even have to come to bed with him!
Walnut boat – Like the walnut mice? Like the walnut boats? A very quick and fun craft that will delight the boys.
Robot Cards – need to make some party invites or thank you cards? These are perfect! We even made these with a group of 8 toddlers at playgroup and the result was fabulous!
Paper Boat – We also revisited our Paper Boats – a simple paper craft that you can make anywhere anytime with almost any piece of paper. A real “basic” must childhood activity!
