Parents must buy separate tickets for their babies to watch the Olympics, it has been revealed. The rule includes children who were not even conceived when tickets for the 2012 Games first went on sale last spring.
Mothers and fathers fear it will be impossible to buy any now. The regulations have been labelled ‘ridiculous’ and ‘the biggest rip-off in the history of London’ on the Mumsnet website.
One angry mother wrote: 'The whole thing is ridiculous, there are people who bought tickets before their babies were even conceived - how are they supposed to know to buy a ticket for a child that doesn't exist yet? There should be more complaining about this policy. It's nuts.'
