When Jenny Hayworth pulled her daughter’s PE kit from her sports bag, something dropped to the floor. There was no mistaking the thin, white object.
The only question was: what was her daughter Amy doing with a half-smoked joint?
When Jenny confronted her, Amy burst into tears and admitted she’d tried cannabis for the first time at a friend’s party a few weeks before and had recently smoked it for a second time.
Sadly, Jenny is not the only parent who has discovered their child is taking drugs at such as young age.
Ian Martin, from Plymouth, found out his 12-year-old step-daughter had smoked cannabis when the family got a call from the school.
