First of all, I apologise in that this isn’t the most exciting product I’m ever going to write about. However, it is one of the best and, if there’s one thing in my house I would buy a million times over it’s this - the simple yet completely fabulous Antilop high chair from Ikea.
Our first highchair purchase for Thomas was all bells and whistles with a padded seat and large tray. It did the job but drove me nuts, taking up so much space in the kitchen. A few months ago, it came back down from the loft for William and I’m afraid it’s had to go. It’s impossible to keep clean and you can’t remove the tray meaning that we all sit at the table to eat and William sits about a metre away.
Enter the Ikea Antilop. It’s white and simple with a removable tray so that your little one can dine alone or sit up to the table. The chair legs clip off easily so you can pop it in the car if you need to and I actually like the look of it which is a result for a high chair. Oh, and it’s £11.22 for the chair and £4.09 for the tray. The cheapest and the best. Thank you Ikea.
