I’ve recently discovered Room Seven - a gorgeous collection of children’s clothes, bed linen and bags. While I’d happily get my hands on just about anything they sell, this week I’ve got my eye on the super stylish bags.
There comes a point when your toddler wants to carry around everything for themselves. I imagine girls want to carry a ‘handbag’ as soon as they possibly can. Thomas, aged three, has only recently decided that he wants to be independent and carry a few of his own toys everywhere. This may sound helpful but he’ll only carry what he wants to and this is rarely anything useful. To give you an example, yesterday he carried around two cherry tomatoes all day. Not a great help in the grand scheme of things.
Anyway, back to my reason for writing, which is that Room Seven have some fabulous new bags. Great for toddlers, and even more exciting for those little ones heading off to school in a few weeks time. They’re brightly coloured, practical and completely quirky, my favourite being Cat with a Pearl Earring Backpack. Alas they’re not cheap, but they don’t look it either, and the designs are such that they should stay a firm favourite for quite some time.
