Even if you decide to breastfeed your baby, you're likely to use the occasional bottle. Breastfeeding mothers often decide to offer one or two feeds from a bottle, giving them the flexibility to enable their partner to offer a feed. There are various excellent brands on the market so your choice might simply depend on price and whether you've bought anything else compatible with that brand, such as a steriliser. Some bottles are marketed as anti-colic, and all come in various sizes. Teats also come in different sizes depending on how fast you'd like the milk to flow. Buy two or three bottles with teats, and remember that it's important to sterilise before each use until your baby is 12 months old.
