Vests offer an essential extra layer, keeping your baby warm during cooler months. Depending on the temperature, you might decide to use a vest during the day and throughout the night. Vests will need to be washed daily, and are often soiled after a heavy nappy so it's worth buying packs of three or six. While some have lovely patterns and designs, it's also a good idea to buy some basic white that won't show through light-coloured clothes.
