If you’re spending a large amount of time on a plane, train or in the car, you’ll be keeping your fingers crossed for happy children. I don’t know about you, but we seem to be able to travel for about three hours before things start getting messy. By that time, three-year old Thomas has had enough of ‘I Spy’, dropped all his toys on the floor of the car and doesn’t want to have a nap. We’ve exhausted all snack options, the stress levels are rising and, quite frankly, we’re considering staying overnight at the motorway services just to get out of the car.
So, I’m delighted to have found another innovative product - the TrayKit by Content & Calm. Simple but rather brilliant - it’s a backpack which can strap to train and plane tables or hang from the seat in front in a car to provide a play surface. There are pockets for pens, paper, stickers etc. What a great idea - I’m almost looking forward to a long car journey so we can give it a proper try. In the meantime, we've been using it when we're out and about - this week it's coming on a visit to grandma's house.
Content & Calm TrayKit® is available in polka dot, camouflage, star&whale and stripe&croc. Buy it on TrayKit.com, Sainsbury's, British Airways Highlife Shop, Boots.com, John Lewis, Mothercare, JoJo Maman Bebe and good independent retailers. RRP £24.99
