Celia is from Gateshead but now lives in North London with her husband of six yrs, opposite her sister and a shortish walk from her brother. She has two sons, the younger of whom arrived totally unexpectedly 27 weeks into her pregnancy. The whole family had a really hard time during Huck's fight for life but are so, so happy now. Huck is a fabulous little boy. Celia is back at work in a nice new job in the social enterprise movement.

Big smiles and people who are happy to see you and the world when they wake up in the morning.
2. What’s the most challenging bit about being a Mum?
Worry - and the incessant questions of a three/four year old.
3. What are your guilty tv and food pleasures?
Cagney and Lacey, Wotsits.
4. What’s your idea of perfect happiness?
Sunny holidays with good friends, fizzy wine, a good book.
5. What annoying habit drives you mad?
People who parent loudly in public - especially on trains.
6. Who’s your secret celebrity crush?
David Milliband (sorry).
7. If money were no object what would be your daily extravagance?
A boat.
8. If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
Less religion - more community and environmentalism.
9. What’s your theme song?
The theme from Cagney and Lacey.
10. What is your motto/favourite phrase?
It's been beautiful (when saying goodbye).
