Charlie J

Charlie is 32 and originally from Devon. She has had (and still has) a troubled love life over the years, so is a late mummy. She had a career in tv for many years, but when the recession kicked in and work dried up she decided to do a couple of winters as a ski bum in France where she met Olivia’s father. She also has her own boat charter business in Ibiza, which is pretty challenging with a baby, but allows her to live in paradise every summer, five minutes from the beach. Winters are spent in London.... or will it be France.... who knows?!

The cuddles and smiles.

3. What are your guilty tv and food pleasures?
Endless US dvds - I can’t tell you how many I have devoured depsite being a mum - and friends have bought me loads - Damages, Weeds, Dexter, The Wire, House.
Food - none. Food i am not that bothered about to be honest - it bores me to death - I wish we could just take pills to fuel up.

4. What’s your idea of perfect happiness?
Never having to cook ever again! Meeting a George Clooney! Feeling not guilty for who I am.. Being given the time off from my baby to be creative again occasionally!

5. What annoying habit drives you mad?
People eating crisps and apples.

6. Who’s your secret celebrity crush?
I fancied Rowan Atkinson when I was a teenager if that is of interest. I think I just found him funny.  

7. If money were no object what would be your daily extravagance?
I would pay someone to tickle me. Not masssage me, tickle me.

8. If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
War and famine of course!

9. What’s your theme song?
Don’t know I like the theme song to The Wire....

10. What is your motto/favourite phrase?
You reap what you sew
