I was brought up in Falkirk in Scotland, I moved to London after completing my first degree 14 years ago. I used to work in Financial Services then in 2002 stated a post grad in Social Work. I chose to be a full time mum until my son turned two. I work as a Social Worker in London.

1. What’s the best bit about being a Mum?
Being able to read ten Julia Donaldson books back to back and then starting all over again.

2. What’s the most challenging bit about being a Mum?
5:30 wake up calls from my son and having to do anything that requires brain power after my son has gone to bed.

3. What are your guilty tv and food pleasures?
Kevin McCloud on i-player. Scaring myself silly watching horror movies by myself. Turkish Delight and Licorice

4. What’s your idea of perfect happiness?
Good (fun) relationships with family and friends and feeling safe and secure

5. What annoying habit drives you mad?
People who pee on the floor next to the toilet and then don't do anything about it.

6. Who’s your secret celebrity crush?
Kevin McCloud, River Phoenix (are dead celebs allowed?)

7. If money were no object what would be your daily extravagance?
Massage

8. If you could change one thing about the world what would it be?
Corruption

9. What’s your theme song?
Dance 'Til Your Head - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

10. What is your motto/favourite phrase?
'What's for you, won't go by you'. In deep Scottish it's more like 'wit's fir ye, won't go by ye'

Bonus ball: Which CBeebies character would you sleep with?
I definitely would not sleep with Mr Tumble. I'm just not into role play. I guess that only leaves Bob the Builder. If it developed into something, imagine the wonderful house he could build for us to live in. Perhaps with Kevin McCloud overseeing proceedings.
