Ok, right. Well. Two years ago I had a daughter at school, a new-born son and a wife wanted to go back to full-time work. So I did the decent thing, resigned and started changing nappies for a living. Oh, and blogging about it too. That’s about all there is to say!

1.What’s your blog about?
Life as a stay-at-home dad and all things parenting, writing, and naval-gazing.

2. When and why did you start writing your blog?
Typically, when I was left holding the baby I did what men always do and googled parenting advice… and fell into the rabbit-hole of parent-blogging!

3. How long do you spend blogging and what do you enjoy?
Not enough time: I’d like to do have about five times as long to read all the excellent blogs out there and a little more time to write by own. Why? Because it’s fun, exciting, rewarding, revealing and real-life.

4. What have been your blogging highs and low, triumphs or disasters?
Undoubtedly winning the MADs Blogger of the Year 2010 and Best Blog Writer was the highlight, as was meeting so many wonderful fellow-bloggers ‘in the flesh’. Lows? Can’t say I’ve really had any, although if you give me more time I’m sure I could think of some.

5. Is blogging a job or a hobby? What would be the ideal outcome?
Hobby hobby hobby… although I really wouldn’t mind making my living blogging.

6. How easy is it to set up a blog – and have you any tips for newbies.
I thought these were the top five questions? Not sure… although it’s pretty easy and I’ve already nursed other people’s blogs into existence and – depending on your platform – it’s always pretty easy.
