Two Become Four

www.twobecomefour.com

I’m a full-time mum to twins Tilly and Jasper who, now that they are into the toddler years, are giving it all they’ve got. We are using the age-old technique to tame our delightful duo known as toddler shouting… it’s a bit like baby whispering… only louder!

1.What’s your blog about?
Everyday family life with twins and everything in between.

2. When and why did you start writing your blog?
I started two become four when I found out we were expecting twins in the hope to document my pregnancy as well as family life afterward. My motivation to write waned very quickly and I finally got into the swing of blogging not long after Tilly and Jasper were born. This isn’t my first blog though… I’ve been blogging in various forms and guises since about 2005.

3. How long do you spend blogging and what do you enjoy?
My biggest blogging annoyance is that I spend far too much time reading other blogs, leaving me with very little time to write all of the amazing, witty posts that I have spinning round in my head!

4. What have been your blogging highs and low, triumphs or disasters?
Blogging highs have to be the opportunities to attend various events and meet so many other great bloggers… and the disasters… starting a meme that fell flat on its face!

5. Is blogging a job or a hobby? What would be the ideal outcome?
Blogging is a hobby to me, although I do take it seriously and I’m very particular about how it looks. It would be great if it could lead to a job… every penny makes a huge difference at the moment!

6. How easy is it to set up a blog – and have you any tips for newbies.
Setting up a blog couldn’t be simpler. If you can use a computer, you can set up a blog… and with the likes of Twitter and all the forums out there, there will always be someone around who can help you out.

Everyday little acts like turning off the tap while you brush your teeth... only boiling enough water in the kettle for what you need... reusing, recycling or…
