Mummy..Mummy..MUM!!

My name is Emma, I have been married for 10 years and have 3 beautiful children. My life is hectic, crazy and loud, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Before having children I worked in London as a programmer for a large bank. I am now a stay at home mum blogging and writing to keep some sanity in my life.

1.What’s your blog about?
The funny things my children say and do, and anything else that crosses my mind.

2. When and why did you start writing your blog?
I started in March 2011, as I realized going back to work would be difficult but I wanted to do something ‘grown-up’.

3. How long do you spend blogging and what do you enjoy?
Most evenings I blog or am on twitter. I enjoy meeting and communicating with new people.

4. What have been your blogging highs and low, triumphs or disasters?
It is always nice when someone says they enjoy reading your blog. My disaster was a typo in my url when I first started. I had to start again from scratch and lost all my followers.

5. Is blogging a job or a hobby? What would be the ideal outcome?
Blogging is a hobby with some lovely perks. Ideally I would like to make enough money to allow me to stay at home with the children as they grow up.

6. How easy is it to set up a blog – and have you any tips for newbies.
It is very easy to set up a blog. My tip would be to really think about how you want to set it up before starting. Look at different platforms and choose your name and url with care.
