Mummy Fever
http://mummyfever.blogspot.com/I’m Charlotte, I am a very lucky mummy to a beautiful princess Megan and a gorgeous little man called Guy. I run three businesses and care for my children. I fundraise for baby charities, and enjoy running marathons, going to the gym and the cinema. I write for a couple of magazines, have a half written book and love setting myself new challenges. The new love of my life is my slow cooker which has given me so much more time in my day!
1.What’s your blog about?
The mummy fever blog is about positivity and inspiring, motivating and informing mums and mums to be on topics from business to beauty (and everything in between). We work with a range of brands to bring you interesting reviews and keep you up to date about our latest events and guest writers.
2. When and why did you start writing your blog?
This began in spring 2011 as a bit of an introduction to mummy fever, prior to the website being launched. This helped to shape the website and formulate ideas.
3. How long do you spend blogging and what do you enjoy?
I spend maybe two hours a day, sometimes more as I have several different blogs linked to my businesses and also a personal one too.
4. What have been your blogging highs and low, triumphs or disasters?
Comments are nice and I always love feedback, I have had some great feedback on the reviews I have written. Low is that blogger can get very frustrating to use and I have often lost a lot of work.
5. Is blogging a job or a hobby? What would be the ideal outcome?
It is a bit of both and the desired outcome would be a balance of the two.
6. How easy is it to set up a blog – and have you any tips for newbies.
I think it is quite easy to start. My tip would be before you start to get a piece of paper and do a bit of a spider diagram and just brainstorm thoughts and ideas and maybe run it past a couple of people.
