1.What’s your blog about?
Mostly, the five Fs that I am most passionate about in life. That’s family, football, food, fitness and fun! So really, it’s just me rambling on.

2. When and why did you start writing your blog?
I started in April 2010. I wrote a couple of guest posts for Garry from Blog Up North, who encouraged my writing. I decided to have a go at my own and the rest is history.

3. How long do you spend blogging and what do you enjoy?
It varies – I can spend an hour or two on a blog post but there’s also the photos, replying to comments and tweets, talking about it on twitter etc. I enjoy the writing process the most, when I have time. Sadly, I don’t have a lot of spare time at the moment! I’ve been on some great blogging events and done some amazing things as a result.

4. What have been your blogging highs and low, triumphs or disasters?
A high was when I went to London to meet and interview Gino D’Acampo. I can’t believe I was the only person who was offered the opportunity and took it! Lows always happen when I start to doubt my abilities and need reassurance from others.

Triumphs- I was nominated a finalist in the Blog Post of the Year category in the MAD Blog Awards. Even if I don’t win, that’s pretty amazing.

Disasters – none major.

5. Is blogging a job or a hobby? What would be the ideal outcome?
Largely, it’s a hobby tho I have earned small amounts from sponsored posts. The work I do on my blog does get noticed though and I have been asked to do some writing for one of my clients as a result.

6. How easy is it to set up a blog – and have you any tips for newbies.
It’s dead easy to set up a blog. And my tip for newbies is simple – your blog, your rules. Don’t let anyone tell you how to blog or run your blog. It’s your personal space.

Well, I'm not going to bore you.

Or maybe I am. You see, a few weeks ago, I received an approach to do a review and I accepted. I accepted because it was for a brand with which I have had a chequered history over time. I assumed that because they were approaching bloggers to do a review that they had got their act together. After I had said yes, I realised that when they said they had approached bloggers, they had asked just about everyone in…
