Multiple Mummy
http://www.multiplemummy.comHi there! I am a busy staying at home Mummy of three under three. A science teacher by trade who is also partner of Science Sparks blog. Multiple Mummy tells the tales of my life with three toddlers and the chaos it brings. I am a lover of little things, fashion (mainly underwear!) chocolate and blogging!
1.What’s your blog about?
It is about my family life with three toddlers under three including twins (non-identical boy and girl). It contains my trails and tribulations, my joys and elations, days out, reviews, competitions and anything else that takes my fancy!
2. When and why did you start writing your blog?
I started back in February 2011 (so still a baby blog) and was really searching for an outlet and mental stimulation from the exhaustion that is three children so small. I adore my children but just needed something for myself and found this in blogging. I did however stumble into it in an impulsive moment after commenting on someone else’s blog! I am so glad I did!
3. How long do you spend blogging and what do you enjoy?
Probably too long! My husband says he is a blogging widow! However he is so supportive. The problem is you get hooked on other thing too like twitter, facebook and iMamma.tv! I love networking with other mums, helping to support each other, to get advice and give it out if I can be of help. I have found a new passion for writing, which has been brilliant. I have also managed to make some lovely friends through blogging.
4. What have been your blogging highs and low, triumphs or disasters?
When you start out it is very daunting and despite everyone saying it is your own blog, your own rules, there is an unspoken etiquette that if you are unaware of you can break with out meaning to!
My highs have included being the Freya Blog star, being shortlisted for Loved by parent’s blogger of the year award and being asked to write for baby born free bottles!
5. Is blogging a job or a hobby? What would be the ideal outcome?
At the moment blogging is a hobby but wow if I could make it into something else that would be ideal.
6. How easy is it to set up a blog – and have you any tips for newbies.
Very easy, there are lots of free blog sites you can use including blogger and wordpress. There is a lot of learning, but if I can do it anyone can! Joining Brit Mums and Tots 100 are great places for support and advice but mostly read lots! Comment lots and just get ideas and tips from the blogs you see. Join twitter, chat and ask questions!
