Inside the Wendy House

http://insidethewendyhouse.blogspot.com/

I’m a stay at home mum with five children aged between 2 and 23. I’ve lived through all the stages of motherhood and survived with a smile on my face! I’m married to my childhood sweetheart and I feel incredibly blessed having my wonderful family. I’m a film loving, cake baking, vegetarian who loves being part of the cyber community!

1.What’s your blog about?
My blog is about everyday life Inside the Wendy House and includes reviews, news, funny stories and personal experiences.

2. When and why did you start writing your blog?
I started on September 16th 2010 as a place to share my thoughts and feelings and to be myself.

3. How long do you spend blogging and what do you enjoy?
I can spend about 4 hours a day on my blog. I love doing reviews with my Tiny Testers and making videos for my blog.

4. What have been your blogging highs and low, triumphs or disasters?
My blogging highs have been the wonderful opportunities that have come my way, including interviewing Ken and Tracy Barlow for Harveys Furniture at the Ideal Home Show! My lows have been from inadvertently saying something that has offended someone and feeling that gut wrenching feeling when you read their negative comment…but this has only happened once!

5. Is blogging a job or a hobby? What would be the ideal outcome?
Blogging started as a hobby but I’d love to take it to wherever it leads me.

6. How easy is it to set up a blog – and have you any tips for newbies.
It was so easy to set up a Blogger blog which, as someone who is not great with technology, was a real plus! As a newbie, I’d recommend immersing yourself in the community with memes, bloghops etc and build a circle of blogging friends for support, advice and to share posts with.
