Mammasaurus

RAWR I’m Mammasaurus ! Actually I’m really Annie, mother of 8, wife of 1, lover of gin… I write stuff, I draw stuff. Sometimes it’s funny, sometimes it’s nonsense and on the odd occasion it’s sad and thought provoking – but if I had to sum it up in word that word would be ‘eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!’. Make of that what you will.

1.What’s your blog about?
It’s about sharing the everyday trials and tribulations that us parents all go through – even if we don’t admit it!

2. When and why did you start writing your blog?
I started writing ‘Mammasaurus’ 3 months ago after many months of reading other parent blogs and getting inspired!

3. How long do you spend blogging and what do you enjoy?
I spend quite a lot of time blogging – far more than I’d admit too I suspect! I also run ‘Love New Blogs’ – a site dedicated to showcasing newer bloggers every week, it’s proven very popular and keeps me a very busy bee indeed – but it’s so rewarding that I love it!

4. What have been your blogging highs and low, triumphs or disasters?
I have had a lot of support from fellow bloggers and it’s that support and motivation that I would say is my high so far. I have also just started vlogging so we shall see if that’s going to be my disaster moment!

5. Is blogging a job or a hobby? What would be the ideal outcome?
I would love to continue my blogging into a blogging related career – however I’d be happy enough just tinkering along as I am.

6. How easy is it to set up a blog – and have you any tips for newbies.
Setting up a blog is easy and I’d gladly help or advise anyone wanting to do so. First thing that’s important is your name! Something that stands out and that you can get a Twitter name the same too will help people connect with you.
