The McCaskie Clan
http://www.themccaskieclan.com/My life is pretty busy. In the last 3 years I have moved house 3 times, got married and had 2 children. I am now also venturing out into becoming a childminder. Things are never dull here in the McCaskie household, as you can imagine so I stated blogging to document the fast paced life of my Clan and to record memories/funny moments/developmental milestones etc.
Alongside this I also quickly fell into doing product reviews which I love doing. I love discovering new products that are great and being able to tell other people about them - the same goes for any bad products too!
1.What’s your blog about?
The Crazy Clan I call family!
2. When and why did you start writing your blog?
My life was moving pretty quickly. Moments of my baby girl's first years & my new pregnancy were flying by. I wanted somewhere to document our journey & share stories with people.
3. How long do you spend blogging and what do you enjoy?
I was spending a lot of time blogging when I first started as I wasn’t sleeping with my pregnancy so it helped pass time & because I was offered a lot of products to review which I soon got bogged down with. Now I have Samuel I have much less time for it so I’m more choosey with my reviews and have a parent review panel to help test products for me.
4. What have been your blogging highs and low, triumphs or disasters?
I haven’t really had any yet. I’ve only been blogging a relatively short time and so far it’s been pretty plain sailing.
5. Is blogging a job or a hobby? What would be the ideal outcome?
A hobby. I would love to be able to call it a job but I just don’t have the time to commit to it enough to make a living from it with everything else I have going on in my life.
6. How easy is it to set up a blog – and have you any tips for newbies.
Super Easy! Literally pick your host & sign up. You can blog straight away about anything at all that takes your fancy, there are no restrictions or limitations to your writing.
My tip would be to just start - you will learn everything along the way!
